Haters may be psychologically predisposed to hate, at least according to new research reported at Smithsonian Smart News.
Scientists were able to determine subjects’ baseline attitudes about the world around them, and it turns out that, even without specific emotional triggers, we all fall somewhere on a spectrum of “everything sucks” to “everything is awesome”.
So do like the video below instructs, and shake them haters off*. They might not be able to help it.

*I went way back in the Texas hip-hop vault in the back of my mind for this one.

psych-facts:

When you dream, your body is paralyzed!
When we are sleeping, our brain secretes chemicals to our body that causes them to become immobile. This protects you from acting out your dreams and hurting yourself. For example, imagine dreaming that you are running and you try to act that out while you’re asleep. You’re going to get injured by either running into the wall or stairs. Hence, our brain protects us while we sleep by making us incapable of moving.
However, Sleepwalking, also known as somnambulism, is a sleep disorder belonging to the parasomnia family. Sleepwalkers arise from the slow wave sleep stage in a state of low consciousness and perform activities that are usually performed during a state of full consciousness.

Me: Happy April fools!
Boyfriend: I'm breaking up with you
Me: I'm giving you a blow-job
Boyfriend: that's fucked up

I’m waiting for a package and I know it won’t come until around 6:30pm, but I’m terrified it’ll show up when I’m in the shower.

Goddamn I’m so in love.
